My name is Alyson, and I am an illustrator and UX designer based in the Greater Los Angeles area. I use visual design and problem-solving to help create a more diverse digital landscape.
I come from a background in games and animation and have found a passion for user experience and interface design. I hope that my unconventional background can bring new and fresh perspectives to you and your team.
I grew up inspired by fantastical video games, visual media, and my favorite shows! (I always wanted to draw in a notepad like the one in Blue's Clues) - and thus - pursued my passion in college for illustration and concept art. At heart, I am an artist and aspire to create impactful visual experience like ones I've experience in my formative years. Currently, I have shifted my focus to improving the experience people want to have with media and technology!
Outside of work, I like to pick up hobbies and learn something new. Currently learning: 🧵 sewing (I make my own halloween costumes from scratch!), 🧶 crocheting, 🌌 3D modeling. I also grew up playing a lot of sports and enjoy playing soccer. I love cold weather and the mountains as well, so snowboarding is a must in the winters!
